Crab Filled Crescent Rolls - great appetizer! Quick!

Crab Filled Crescent Rolls – great appetizer! Quick!

I made these lovelies for lunch today. They were quick and easy…and they tasted great! I overfilled them a bit but that’s okay…they tasted great anyway.

1 8oz can of Crescent Dough (I use Pillsbury)

1 can of imitation crab meat (about 1 cup)  – or fresh crab meat cooked

4 oz of Cream Cheese (softened)

1/4 Cup of Mayonnaise

1/8 Cayenne Pepper

Salt & Pepper (to taste)

Preheat oven to 375°F.

Spray a cookie sheet with some Pam or other non-stick cooking spray.

Unroll Crescent Dough onto work surface, and pinch together seams to seal them up.

Roll out with a rolling pin to make an even rectangle.

Cut into squares with a pizza cutter (I was able to make about 16 squares).

In a small bowl combine cream cheese, mayo, crab meat, cayenne pepper and salt and pepper to taste.

Divide crab mixture evenly among the squares.

Starting with one corner, fold dough over filling, and tuck end tightly underneath filling.

Roll opposite corner of dough over roll; press to seal.

Place on cookie sheet.

Bake 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Remove from cookie sheet.

Serve warm.

Let me know if you try these out and what you think of them. I thought they were great!!
