Many thanks to Bonnie Legreid for this recipe! I made this to bring to work today…and it was a major hit! I put it out at 8 am and there was only a spoonful left at 9 am! WOW! It’s super addicting and really yummy!! I opted out of the pecans because two people here at work have nut allergies, but I’m sure they add a great salty-crunch!
Here’s the recipe…it’s SOOOOOOOO easy!!
1 8oz package of Cream Cheese, softened
1 stick of butter (1/2 cup), softened
¾ cup of Powdered Sugar
2 tablespoons of Brown Sugar
¼ teaspoon of vanilla
¾ cup of mini chocolate chips
Pecan chips (optional)
Mix Cream Cheese, Butter and Vanilla until fluffy.
Add in powdered sugar and brown sugar and mix until well blended.
Mix in mini chocolate chips.
Refrigerate for 2 hours
Take out of fridge and sculpt mixture into a ball. (or you can leave it in the bowl and just have people dip from there…that’s what I did…because we have folks here with nut allergies.)
Roll ball in pecan chips.
Serve with mini graham crackers or animal crackers.
ENJOY!! Let me know what you think if you try it! Until next time…
